Teknival, the name given to these free post society festivals by our European predecessors, have been common there for over a decade, reclaiming the countryside for all to enjoy.

Back to our usual free tekno hijinks, we'll be setting up the yurt and rawkin out all night. We're steppin away from our usual blacklight-wallhangy-psytrance decor though, and instead we'll have some flashy blinky lights and other eye-candy crackery.

Northtek 2007 Teknival

Northtek is a free non-hierarchical outdoor carnival of Do-It-Yourself culture, music and technology. Without centralized organization, it is an actualization of autonomy. All non-commercial collectives and individuals are encouraged to contribute whatever they like in their own way… just don’t be “that guy”.

The Om Reunion Project is excited to share with you our vision for solstice 2007; a week long outdoor celebration of community, sustainability, alternative energy, and independent artistic expression. We invite you once again, to come dance and learn with friends and friends-to-be under the solstice sun.

We will be gathering this year from Monday June 18th through Sunday June 24th.
